Medela places strong emphasis on own research. For further development of its breastfeeding products the company collaborates with a team from the University of Western Australia. Thanks to this collaboration, Medela was the first company to launch an extremely efficient breastpump with a natural pumping rhythm.
Medela conducts regular international product tests to obtain feedback from customers about the products, and information regarding specific aspects such as comfort and handling. Because it is only when a product is used that it becomes clear whether nature has been correctly understood.
